Teaching Philosophy

My journey in mathematics began with a deep fascination for numbers and problem-solving, which led me to participate in the Bangladesh National Math Olympiad from 2014 to 2017. Those years were transformative. I didn't just compete; I won, and each success fuelled my love for the subject even more. The Olympiads gave me a platform to challenge myself and confirmed that this was a path I genuinely wanted to pursue. In 2018 and 2019, I was selected as a TST camper, joining a group of the country's most promising math talents. Those camps were intense, filled with hours of rigorous training, collaboration, and exposure to ideas that went far beyond what I had ever learned in school. It was a space where I truly felt at home, surrounded by others who shared my excitement for elegant solutions and complex problems. In 2019, I was honoured to receive an Honorable Mention in the Asian Pacific Mathematics Olympiad. Competing on an international stage and being recognised among top problem solvers across Asia-Pacific was both humbling and motivating. These experiences have shaped not just how I see mathematics, but how I teach it. As an instructor, I try to bring that same spark and structure into every session, helping students not just solve problems, but fall in love with the process behind them.
