Hey there! I'm Anata Choudhury, Bangladesh's current national chess player, with a peak of Bangladesh No. 8 in 2024. I started playing competitive chess somewhat late — probably just the year before the SSC examination, around 2015–16. From then, winning age-based tournaments to cracking into Bangladesh's top 10 FIDE rating list and becoming a national chess player several times over, time passed. Compared to others, I've always been a somewhat ‘busy player’. Being constantly bombarded with university pressure led me to adopt some unique methods and styles in chess. Throughout the course I've tried to deliver some of the key ideas, concepts and methods that allowed me to compete at the highest level in the country — against GMs, IMs and others — for all these years. From beginners who don't yet know how to move the pieces, to experienced 1600 FIDE-rated players, tighten your seatbelt and get ready, because this course has something to offer all of you.
