Hi, I'm Ahnaf Shahriar Asif, currently studying Computer Science and Mathematics at BRAC University. I got into competitive programming during high school when I participated in the National High School Programming Contest. In 2017 I placed 10th in the national round, which let me attend the national training camp. That experience helped me meet other strong programmers across the country and pushed me to improve my skills. Over the next few years I focused more on problem-solving and took part in the Bangladesh Olympiad in Informatics, where I placed 6th in 2019 and 5th in 2020, earning a bronze and then a silver medal. These contests were a big part of my growth, both in learning algorithms and in building confidence in competitions. Now at university I take part in ICPC regional contests and IUPC as part of my university team. I enjoy the team aspect of these contests and the challenge of solving problems under time pressure. Competitive programming has taught me how to think clearly, break down problems efficiently, and stay consistent with practice.
